Last 2- years, in Draw, while I work, from time to time the document will crash and gets recovered. This makes me save often. The doc recovered is the last saved version.
Now, recently, even upon starting Draw on its own, or with any previously saved document, every time it attempts recovery of the recently saved document. Which does not result in any losses, but is scary.
I had 4.1.10 and yesterday I installed 4.1.15 (yes, downloaded from the proper website).
It did not cure the problem.
What could be happening?

You may have a corrupted user profile. To reset the user profile:
Close OpenOffice
Open any folder and enter %appdata%\OpenOffice\4 in the address bar near the top.
That will take you to a folder containing a folder called user. Rename that to user_old.
Restart OpenOffice. You should get the user registration screen. Fill that out and see if the program is now stable.
