Can someone tell me if I can install Open Office on my MacBook Air M2? I would greatly appreciate it.

Installing OO on an M2 should work leveraging the compatibility layer.
As a NeoOffice user you probably would be better off leveraging LibreOffice as NeoOffice does not get any new features and the Developer now work directly on LibreOffice (as an employee of Collabora, a LibreOffice ecosystem partner). LibreOffice has a build for M2.
