Corrupted File, unable to open

I have a corrupted file. I had been working on the file all day, saving regularly.
When I tried to save under another name, open office crashed and when I returned,
the file was corrupted. open office box said it could not be fixed

Have not been able to find back up.

Have tried other fixes, but it ain't fixed

Anyone able to helpf

The tools at my disposal are telling me that the file is an incomplete archive; they are unable to open it. Someone else may have better tools.

I was able to recover some of the damaged zip file, however it was essentially just a thumbnail image of the first page of the document. Nothing usable could be recovered.
