[Solved] Want PNG Images On One Page

Post by bilvihur »

Running OO 4.1.10. I captured 3 PNG images (using MS Snipping Tool), and tried to Insert them in Text document. Although they will all fit vertically on one page, OO apparently places a Page Break after each, resulting in three pages. What must I do to place the three images on single page? Thanks.

Look at how they are anchored; perhaps "anchor as character" might help.

I tried "Anchor as Character", but it still gives a Page Break (View -> non-printable character) after each image.

What are the settings of the paragraphs where the pics are placed?
Maybe they have a page break setting.

While trying to access the paragraph settings, I somehow got a frame which asked about the Java Runtime Environment. I answered NO, tried to Cancel, but nothing I did got a response from OO. I had to use the Windows Task Manager to end the Open Office Writer process. I brought OO back up, recovered the file I was working on, and voila - now it looks like I want! I suspect the "Anchor as Character" solved the problem. Thanks for the help.
