[Solved] Font Setting Not Retained

Post by Douglass »

I am using OpenOffice 4.1.14 (AOO4114m1(Build:9811) - Rev. a0d24fb625 2023-02-08 19:47). I've started having problems with my default font setting. I have set my font to Arial 12. After having shut down when I restart the program or my computer the font setting returns to Times New Roman. This is somewhat annoying as not only do I have to reset my font when I start OpenOffice writer but also each and every time i write a footnote. Any suggestion would be appreciated. tnx

What exactly did you do to set the font to Arial 12? The best way to do that is to set it as the font of the Default paragraph style. If you want that to be the setting for all documents, save a default template that has the Default paragraph style using Arial 12.
