[Solved] Is OpenOffice free? Any charge features?

Post by bless4 »

Can I use OpenOffice even if I didn't buy? If yes, what will be the extra features for the subscribed one? TIA

It is free - you get everything. You should only download from http://www.openoffice.org/download/ whence you will be redirected to a SourceForge server.

OpenOffice is absolutely free no matter where you use it. I'm not aware of any 'subscribed version'.

Above said OpenOffice is heading down the tubes. You would be better off using LibreOffice (Community) which is also free no matter where you use it. LibreOffice does though have a scheme where business users can subscribe and get support if they so wish.
