I would like to be able to convert *.ODP to MP4 format...can this be done? Please help

Hi and welcome to the forums.
You could achieve this using something called a screen recorder. Here is a free one: AutoScreen Recorder 3.0 Note that I've never used this software but it is the sort of thing you need. There are other packages you could use, such as commercial ones like Camtasia.
Once you have the presentation recorded you can use something like Super (which is free) to convert it to the video format you want, if the screen recorder doesn't save it directly into that format.
