Master document Subdocs

Post by overyonder »

When I drag and drop a group of files into the navigator pane they show up out of order. Each file has a date so they should show up in order.

They show up in the order they are inserted. Drag and drop them again to reorder them if necessary.
Agreed that the insertion is rather weird, it is added before the last file IIRC. That's the way it is. If you want to file an enhancement request: [Tutorial] Reporting bugs or suggestions. But very little development so far.

Please add [Solved] at the beginning of the title in your first post (top of the topic) with the *EDIT button if your issue has been fixed.

As the OP states they are using AndrOpenOffice, any enhancement made to Apache OpenOffice may not flow on to AndrOpenOffice unless the person who ported AOO to Android updates their port.

I might insert a hundred files at once, drag and drop all in date-order and they show up out of order. So I guess that's a bug.

I updated my signature - this is for the Windows version.

It may depend on your date format - best to use ISO standard format YYYY-MM-DD

Thank you, yes, they are not standard dates
