how to activate Synonym option

Post by anilnimesh »

I need help in activating the Synonym option.

When I right-click on a word to have more synonym then it shows synonym in grey.

I tried through thesaurus also but it has no alternatives words. I don't know how, but earlier it was working. Please help and guide.

NO, its not working either
- If the language packs are installed properly, then try to reset the User profile of the Apache OpenOffice.
- Check it if the desired language is set for the text.
- If the language packs are not installed, then install them.
- Finally you can try the LibreOffice.

The 4.1.6 version is not OpenOffice.org (OOo) distributed office suite. The 4.1.6 is Apache OpenOffice (AOO) or LibreOffice (LO). The recent LO version is the v6.x.x.

See if that helps: [Troubleshooting] Spell check in OpenOffice.

Please add [Solved] at the beginning of the title in your first post (top of the topic) with the *EDIT button if your issue has been fixed.

If spellcheck is not working then you need to fix that, using the reference Hagar has given. Synonyms and thesaurus should then work.
