[Solved] Some text missing after sending email attachment

I created a document using open office and attached the document to an outlook email. When the recipient opened the attachment the last paragraph was missing. This seems to be happening every time I do this

What format are you saving the document in?
Can you post an example document here?
This has been seen before in this thread. There was no clear resolution in that case but it is worth reading.
If you are saving the documents in doc format, can you try sending it as an odt file? Word can open that format.

In what format are you saving the document - as an OpenOffice document or perhaps as a Microsoft Office document?

The OO .doc filter, in some recensions, omits the last paragraph; the workaround is to place an empty line at the end of the documents.
