[Solved] How to get rid of extra spacing between words?

I'm noticing this wierd thing with OO Word

Say I have a paragarph like this

I'm always going to be closing
As I'm the best salesman the world has ever seen
I closed 3 multi million dollar deals in 4 months

SOmetimes if I hit a carriage feed on the last line
"I closed 3 multi..." so it goes to the next page
then the second line

The "As I'm the best salesman" becomes widely spaced like

As      I'm    The     Best

Actually the more words I put in that line
the closer they become spaced
But if there are only say two words it's like

As                                I'm

What is going on?
I want it to be like As I'm.......k


I turned on/off kerning, nothing.
How do I make my document have a universap spacing
standard of like one space between words.

Not really following... is your
format menu/paragraph dialog/alignment set to justified instead of left aligned?

When you use the Justified alignment feature, this is a normal behavior. You can switch off it for the last line of the paragraph in the applied paragraph style.

I'm in paragraph, then alignment and it is not set to justified.
This is set to left
and text to text alignment is automatic

OH I see some of the text is justified,
when i switched it to left alighment. It was solved.
Wondering why someo of the text is justiified.
I imported this into open office from another word processor so maybe that's why.
