Re: How to set up default search options?
OpenOffice Calc does not provide a way to set defaults for Edit → Find&Replace, however my AOO 4.1.7 version remembers the settings from the previous Find&Replace operation. Once you set Search In to Values, you won't have to change set it for later searches. I generally perform a search using shortcut ⌘F ⌘O on my Mac (use Ctrl+F Ctrl+O on other platforms) to open the dialog and show the More Options fields so I can verify the settings.xuzo wrote:How can I set it up to search by values and other settings by default?
Anticipated question: "Can I make Find&Replace show More Options by default?". Answer: No. Issue 87032 - Find/Replace "in selected" usability proposal
If this solved your problem please go to your first post use the Edit button and add [Solved] to the start of the title. You can select the green checkmark icon at the same time.
