[Solved] Find and replace applied only to filtered cells
[Solved] Find and replace applied only to filtered cells
It seems that when one applies find and replace to a filtered range it finds and replaces in all cells, not only on visible ones. How could one have Calc to find and replace only in visible cells?

Thank you. LO does not work in my Windows XP so I will stick to the old expedient of going back to Excel for the task above (but will keep using the wonderful regular expressions features in OO filter!).

LO 5.4.7 of 2018 is the last version for Windows XP. That was a good version. Much better than anything AOO has to offer.

This is nearly, but not quite, Off Topic. A clean room replacement for Windows is called ReactOS. It comes in 32 and 64 bit versions and can be tried from a live DVD. I haven't tried it.

Thank you very much Villeroy amd RoryOF for your comments. I will definitely try to install LO 5.4.7 and take a look at ReactOS.
