Times New Roman font changed to Webkit-standard
I have been trying to make a file that has Times New Roman as its font. When I think I have, I save the document and bring it up again. It comes up having the font webkit-standard every time. How can I create a document that has the font I want come up as such?
Than you for your help.

Re: Font
Have made the signature appear in first post and moved to the Mac forum consequently. It may help.

Re: Font
RoryOF,
Thank you for the file. I figured out how to make the pages 8.5 X 11, and I could delete all by the second page of contents. I had hoped to use its formatting as a template for my work.
The second page contains a table of contents with a footer. I don't know how to eliminate a given page.

Re: Font
Right click on the Table of Contents and select Delete Index/Table from the popup. Then turn on /View /non-printing characters and delete all characters on the page. Place cursor before the topmost character on the page, which will probably look like a backwards P, and press Delete key - I think it may be something different on a Mac.

Re: Font
I spoke too soon. When I tried to copy words from my previous document, I got a lot mess.
Isn't there a way to start a new document having a given font?
Thank you for your help.

Re: Font
They probably carried over existing formatting. Instead, when you Paste, choose Paste Special and select unformatted text from the popup, so that the pasted text takes the formatting of the document into which it is being inserted.

Re: Font
I have been typing the text in by hand. The second page comes up with a header which I don't know how to delete.

Re: Times New Roman font changed to Webkit-standard
Does the font manager on your Mac show that you actually have Times New Roman installed? Or Tinos, which is a close lookalike and metrically compatible?
