Hi,
Can not find much on Message boxes other than that there are Info, Warnings and Alerts. However I was wondering if LO has the capability of timed messageboxes, that is you nominate how many seconds the message is displayed before disappearing.
The reason, my ancient underpowered Spanish Abacus needs on average 4 secs to open some forms containing a fair bit of calculations. As such it would be nice to display some Please wait, Loading data ... or as an alternative some sort of turning hourglass
any pointers would be appreciated

Maybe you could trigger a macro that displays a progress bar upon opening the form.

Found another option in an old post using a timed label

Working perfectly. Just wonder if one can make a label flash as there doe not seem to be a property.
