Hi,
I recently lost my computer. I always write on OpenOffice writer, and I have continous sync to Microsoft OneDrive.
Unfortunately I lost 20 pages, and now, on the new computer I tested the sync between My Computer, another Computer and the Cloud. All 3 of them connected in my network.
It worked fine. I tested opening my text, adding new next, opening in the cloud instead and so on. it works, BUT:
When I added text, saved and DIDNT CLOSE openoffice the Cloud sync suddenly stops working. It is trying to Sync forever, and even after a long while I couldn´t find the updated text (but still the document) on the other PC, neither on the Cloud.
Before my loss of the computer I remember I saved but didn´t close openoffice writer. I believe that is why I lost 20 pages.
Is this something you know about? Am I doing anything wrong or is it a bug?
Best Regards,
Klas Berggren

Re: Sync with Microsoft OneDrive
The LibreOffice has a new feature named "Save remote". Try it.
Always work with the AOO on a local, non-removable drive.
And create more than one backup copy of your important files onto different media.
