Cannot close any document in writer whether as save or save as or exit the program

More information please. Do you get any messages, can you edit the open document, where do you try to save a document, etc.

The current official version is "Apache OpenOffice 4.1.6". Where did you get the "OpenOffice 4.2.0, 2019 Office Suite..."? I can't find it using Google.

Impressive list of paid versions of OpenOffice at Ebay. Well, you have been had. It's legal to sell OpenOffice, but you can download it free of charge at the official website. See link in the right hand corner of this web page.

Apart from that, the ads for AOO on the Ebay page are very misleading about how compatible AOO really is with MS Office. The most recent version of AOO still can't save files in the docx and xlsx formats, to mention but one problem.

So why do you get software from Ebay when you can get it free? Next time you want to buy software, first visit the official website of the manufacturer, then when you find that it's paid software, you can try to get it from a cheaoer place (risking added malware, of course).
