[Solved] How is this not right?

Post by keithbakerlv »

I have the number 3 in M17 and the number 2 in N17 and the code

Code: Select all

=IF(M17>N17;"Y";IF(M17<N17;"N";""))
in O17. It isn't changing if I change the numbers though. 017 remains N no matter what.

Perhaps one of the entries is not a number but text. Select the menu View -> Value Highlighting. Are both M17 and N17 blue? If they are being produced by formulas, what are the formulas.
