[Solved] Remove .00 from whole numbers?

Post by MadCowCrazy »

I'm creating a monthly expenditure spreadsheet for my food costs and am having trouble trying to figure out how to format it with and without decimal points.
What I want is basically this:
12.45€
8.13€
5€ <----- This number shows as 5.00€, how do I remove the .00?
9.75€

I'd rather not have to do custom formatting for every cell that has a non decimal number. Is it possible to do this? That I can select all cells in A and B and through some custom formatting have decimal points when it's needed and none for whole numbers?

Welcome to the Forums.
Does

Code: Select all

General€
in the Format Code box of the Format Cells dialog (Numbers tab) work for you? It looked close in my test.
