[Solved] Default Fonts

Post by jonesp57 »

Hi, I need some help in setting a default font in a spreadsheet.
I wish to use 'Times New Roman' as a default font in my spreadsheets.
I opened up a new spreadsheet, changed the fonts to 'New Times Roman' and saved this as a Template in 'My Templates'
I then set this as my 'Default Template.
Now when I open up a new spreadsheet all the fonts are 'New Times Roman' as I require.

The problem I have, is that if I 'cut' or 'move' some text from a cell, that cell reverts back to having 'Arial' as the default text.

Can someone offer some advice please

Regards Paul

Try /Tools /Options /OpenOffice /Fonts. check "Apply replacement table" and enter the desired font substitutions

Managed to resolve the problem myself via choosing

Format > Styles and Formatting, right click on Default and choose Modify > Font

re-saved as default Template

Phew, been driving me mad for the past few days.

Thanks Paul
