[Solved] Modifying a style

Post by jimbokea »

Hi There - If you right click on a cell style in styles & Formatting a pop-up comes up that says New, Modify, Delete. If you select 'modify' nothing happens.
Please advise - Cheers Jim

Maybe the sheet is protected. You can not modify the styles that are applied on a protected sheet.

Well it seems you have to unprotect every sheet in the file for the modify to work - even sheets that don't have the style on them ( were part of conditional formatting)
Thanks - Jim

Even the Conditional Formatting feature uses the cell styles when you configure it. That means the style is applied (conditionally).
