[Solved] Move copy in Calc

Post by djcabc »

I use Microsoft Windows 7 for the Apache OpenOfffice Calc spreadsheet. I have 100 individual sheets on the spreadsheet, with the individual names on the scroll bar. When i fill a sheet, I copy it and rename it as (2), with the original sheet renamed (1). After several "copies", I am no longer able to copy more sheets. On the "Edit" button, the "Copy/Move" action is in light gray, while the allowed actions are in black. How do I free up the "copy/move" action, so I can continue to copy?

Welcome to the forum.
the "Copy/Move" action is in light gray
That indicates you have reached the limit on the number of sheets in that document, so you will need to start a new document.
I'm not sure what the limit is for OO version 3.1 (it was upgradeded in 2010) but I just tested version 4.1.6 and the limit is 256 sheets.
