LibreOffice App Text Menus Opening Upward

I am running LibreOffice 6.2 on the Linux platform on Chrome OS 72. The text menus for the different applications open upward into the top of the screen, which is not very useful (see attached images). Is there any way to correct this?

That could be a problem related to Chrome.
Apache OpenOffice 4.1.16 on Xubuntu 24.04.4 LTS

Do you mind offering a bit more evidence to support your conclusion? As it stands, it is just as possible that the problem could be related to LO running on Chrome Linux, which is Debian.

It does not happen on the Windows version.
