hello
have searched and didnt find an answer
as you all are aware MS has left most of us with corrupted or inoperable files.
when someone suggested apache I started to rebuild my excel lists, there are a few minor functions I would like to adjust in those at some point
but for today was working on a companion photo list, I may be using the wrong application of excel for this ? better option?
photo managers dont work
started with excel, have my cells/columns rows set out ,and it was working but I have 3 questions that would make it a lot cleaner.
1 ...how can I replicate cell template by groups of 5 (full page)rows columns /70 cells
2 how can I insert photo/picture (700 cells) and have it fit the cell with out trying to drag and match
3 (this may include starting with another option?) if I need to add a new item photo (insert new cell)to position (#125 row 17 column d)is there a method to make cell #126 >and beyond simply move down?
thank you

Re: photo fitting to fill cell?
The photos inserted into a Calc document are not located IN a cell, even they are not located on the layer of the cells. They are located on a graphical layer, and the only one connection between the layers is the ANCHOR.
Of course you can write a macro the align pictures virtually to the cells. There are macro code snippets for this task in this forum too.
