ERR 509

Post by DPARK »

I have in the last couple of days updated to 4.1.6, now a spread sheet that I use for household stuff is showing err 509 in all the cells that have any kind of formula. I looked at the formula list and there is now nothing in it that there was before

From the help:
509 Missing operator
Operator is missing, for example, "=2(3+4) * ", where the operator between "2" and "(" is missing.

Ive just checked the Formula list again and there isn't anything showing in it. The list of all the different formula isn't there anymore. I click on a cell with a formula and the formula is there but showing err509.

Also remember that the formula you are looking at might not have a mistake, but a formula that is referenced could have the mistake.... it can take a while to locate which formula has the error if you have a lot of formulas that reference other formulas.

Please upload a small sample file so that we can analyse what may be wrong. Otherwise you are wasting your time and ours.
