[Solved] Concatenate

Post by THEBookMan »

I have a SS w/ 3000 rows.
Each row has 3 columns.

I would like to concatenate all 3 columns into 1.

Not finding much help in the F1 page.

Any ideas

Do you want concatenate three strings from three cells?
If the answer is YES, then you must use the function
=CONCATENATE(A1;A2;A3)
or
= A1&A2&A3

This worked:

Select the cells you want to change.

Edit > Copy

Edit > Paste Special ... uncheck "Paste All", uncheck all EXCEPT "Values" ... OK

This is a handy trick in general for replacing a formula with its result.

Thanks.
