[Solved] LO 6.2.0.3 marks file as changed whenever I print
I just installed the new LO 6.2.0.3, and whenever I tell it to print a file, LO will modify the Save icon, indicating that a change has been made, even when I have just saved it BEFORE printing. Because I am not used to this, it distracts me and I instinctively save the file again. Just so I don't end up ignoring that icon change, I'd rather troubleshoot this than get used to closing out docs and ignoring the request to save. And when I close out the file, LO will ask me to save the file, as if I had made a change.
Is there anything I can do to eliminate this?

In OpenOffice, I can go to the menu Tools -> Options, expand the OpenOffice list on the left, choose General and change the Printing Sets "Document Modified" Status.

That option is there, but it was unchecked. Neither checking it, nor unchecking it again, made any difference. Even restarting after making those changes didn't make any difference.

Re: LO 6.2.0.3 marks file as changed whenever I print
Sounds like a bug that no one else has noticed yet. When I go to to the LO site, I'm offered LO 6.1.5.2, so LO 6.2.0.3 probably hasn't had much testing by users.

Re: LO 6.2.0.3 marks file as changed whenever I print
It is an actual Release, as opposed to a beta or RC. When I go to libreoffice.org and dlick on the Download menu, I am shown both 6.2.0 and 6.1.5.
Oh well, perhaps I can just downgrade to 6.1.5, then, if this isn't being noticed by anyone else.

Uninstalled, then downgraded to 6.1.5, and found the same bug. Uninstalled that (rebooting each time & deleting the profile), then installed 6.0.7.3, and so far I haven't seen that bug. So that is my solution.

Please report it as a bug. If you don't how will it get fixed?

Does this happen only with Calc files? If so, perhaps your issue is the same as this one reported at AskLibreOffice.

No, I was seeing it with Writer files. I didn't try or observe this with any other program from LO.

Ah OK. You failed to specify which part(s) of LO you were using, so I thought it worth mentioning.
