I have been using Open Office on my MAC for years.
Suddenly I find that I can't print from Open Office - no problem printing from any other source.
The printer message is that the paper should be letter size although I have always used A4 and this is on the general printer settings.
I've discovered that if I open the file in Mac Preview, I can the print it - but a drag!
What's gone wrong and why now?

Re: Problem printing from Open Office
Check two things: in OpenOffice go to /Format /Page : Page tab and verify that you have selected A4 page size. Then, in /File /Print, if there is a properties button, press this and check that the printer is told to use A4 paper. If there is no Properties button there may be a configuration setting (words to that effect) that allows the same setting.
I have not a Mac on which to check these exact settings.

Thanks RoryOF - Your first solution worked! I wonder why it changed itself.
