[Solved] Try to start a new document fails

trying to open an existing or new OpenOffice file creates an window to start recovery with instruction to press 'start recovery' this fails, but pressing 'next' will open document. How do I solve this ?

Press Cancel to kill the prompt to recover a document, then you should be able to start a new document.
