Reregister

Have just moved OO from laptop to PC. It now needs me to register, do not remember what I used to register originally. question - -can I locate original data somehow? or if I use new data to register, will it then access all old spreadsheets etc?

The information entered in the registration screen can be seen by going to the menu Tools -> Options, expanding the OpenOffice list on the left and clicking User Data. If you do not have access to your old installation, there is little harm in just entering new information. It will affect the name of the user used to label inserted comments and where the cursor is located when you open a document but it will not prevent you from opening documents.
