[Solved] Is Apache OpenOffice from an identified developer?
I am currently running OpenOffice 4.1.4 on my iMac running OS Mojave 10.14.1. I have downloaded OpenOffice update 4.1.6 and am trying to install it. Each time I get the following message after initiating the installation: "Your security preferences allow installation of only apps from the App Store and identified developers." Is Apache OpenOffice from an "identified developer"?

No, not yet - the development team is currently working on gaining this approval.
To answer the question you didn't ask - please see the Installation instructions for Mac for how to allow applications not installed from the Mac App store to run.
If you are new to AOO on Mac, you may find [Tutorial] Mac FAQ a useful resource. The gatekeeper is mentioned in Q05/A05.
