Formatting with Landscape and Portrait

Post by lavtech »

I want to create a document in which some pages are formatted to Landscape and others as Portrait. I cannot find the function to do this. I have tried Inserting a Section Break but when I format the new section / Page to Portrait the whole document changes.

You need create and apply different Page Styles in your document. See the Help and other documents and descriptions.

Sections in Writer aren't the same as sections in MS Word. The page orientation in MS Word is defined in sections. The page orientation in Writer is defined in the page style. Instead of inserting a Section Break, you have to insert a Page Break and specify a different page style.
