[Solved] Forms - Tasks grayed out

I just downloaded/installed OO. I was able to create a table for my data and add some data. But when I selected "Forms", the Tasks section is grayed out.

Do I need to do something else before I can create an input form?

I found my problem. I had not installed Write. I did not intend to use it and did not realize I needed it for Base.

Simply install everything. The difference will amount to a few MB, which is almost nothing compared to the size of the entire thing.
OOo is indeed one huge application for office documents. The different kinds of documents are loaded into components. All components share most of the code.
