[Solved] Format error discovered in sub-document MAC OS

Post by ulnor »

[Solved] Hi,

I have been working on a text document in OO that contains many comments, replies and text edits. Now I cannot open the document. I get the read-error: "Format error discovered in the sub-document content.xml at 2,3984(row,col)". I have looked in the previous posts about how to solve the problem but I work in MAC OS and I am a little bit insecure when it comes to coding . Can someone help me recover the file? I would be most greatful!

Please upload the file to the Forum, or if it is too large (>128KB) place on a filesharing site and post the URL here.

Something to do with Comments; one badly parametered comment near the beginning. We have seen that before, but I don't know what causes it - I just fixed it.

As mentioned above, you'll need to upload the problem file.

[Forum] How to attach a document here Note maximum file size is 128K. If your file is larger, use a file sharing site such as Mediafire and post the link here.

Please send me a PM with email address to which I can return the repaired file.

The file is heavily commented, with track changes enabled. It had the usual multiple annotation error (caused for unknown reasons) near the beginning, which I corrected.

Hello,

I have the exact same problem, on a really important file that contains a lot of annotations and comments. Any help would be hugely appreciated.
