[Solved] PDF document not displaying correctly

Post by Teka »

Hi

When I open pdf document received as email attachment the ASCii Filter Options opens. What do I need to select to read the documents?

If I accept the defaults a page opens containing data about the make-up of the pdf page e.g.

%PDF-1.3
1 0 obj
<<
/CreationDate(D:20131024143933)
/Title(SH_Invoice_V5)
/Author(Formate)
/Producer(Formate)

Please help

Teka

You need to set your File Associations to point to a PDF reader (typically Adobe Reader, usually installed on all Windows computers) to read PDF files.

OpenOffice is _not_ such a reader.
