Usually, a grayed out Paste option indicates there is nothing in the clipboard to paste.
Your question is a little confusing. Are you trying to copy a bookmark URL from FireFox to one of the Open Office modules (Writer, Calc, Base)?

Where are you copying the web address from that you want to bookmark in Firefox?
Is it a Calc spreadsheet, a Writer document or a Base table?

Sorry but
too many 1800
makes no sense.
This is the Open Office forum, so if the web address that you want to bookmark in Firefox is not saved in a Calc spreadsheet, a Writer document or a Base table then you are on the wrong forum.
At the upper right on your Firefox window select Open menu.
Select Help from that menu and then Firefox help.
That should open the Firefox Support web page.
Basic browsing has a Bookmarks and tabs topic.
Or Get Community support will take you to the Firefox forum where you can ask questions about Firefox.

It would be helpful if, when you have a failed paste into Firefox, you then tried an immediate paste into Notepad (without any re-Copy). Please let us know if such Paste into Notepad worked.

If you can navigate in Firefox to a web page you want to bookmark, then press <Ctrl>-D to open the Bookmark dialog.
