Greetings,
Is it possible to autorun Impress presentation (similar to Power Point Show), which does not require OpenOffice Impress installed in the system ?
I'm not talking about command line action: simpress.exe -show file.odp
I want to save presentation on CD, and I don't know if a user will have OpenOffice installed, and I don't want to bother him to install OpenOffice especially to see that presentation.
Thanks for answer.

Sorry, not possible.
Can you send a PDF? That's usually a very safe and dependable format to publish to.

In that case, you have a real challenge!
The real answer (for either PPT or Impress), is a conversion to video--which solves all the issues nicely. Unfortunately, that conversion is not built into either platform. There are commercial converters for PPT. For Impress, it seems that people have found ways to do it, but you'll have to track them down for yourself.
