[Solved] SAXParse Error

Post by JayT »

Hi, I am attempting to open a document and get this error

File format error found at
SAXParseException: '[word/document.xml line 2]: Attribute w:cstheme redefined
', Stream 'word/document.xml', Line 2, Column 26111(row,col).

I know this question has been asked a lot but I have followed the steps and cannot seem to be able to make it work as I do not have administrator rights on this work computer but have no other computer before this is due tomorrow! Please could someone have a look for me, it is only a one page document!

The file is attached.

Thanks in advance.

It is best always to work in .odt and save out to other formats only when finished. Your tutor's Word should be able to open .odt files - he should consult the IT department.

See [Tutorial] Differences between Writer and MS Word files for why you should always work in and save files as .odt.
LO 6.4.4.2, Windows 10 Home 64 bit

See the Writer Guide, the Writer FAQ, the Writer Tutorials and Writer for students.

Remember: Always save your Writer files as .odt files. - see here for the many reasons why.
