Now that Picasa is retired we need a good photo viewer and good upload manager.
Is Apache ever going to contemplate the development of a photo manger / viewer ?

Re: Photo Manager
You could always ask Apache...
No, this forum is not Apache. It is a user forum for one particular software title under the Apache umbrella. AFAIK, we are only Apache to the extent that they supply the infrastructure and oversee the activity here to some degree.
You can't expect to reach Apache with your questions in this forum.

Personally, I use XnViewMP. Available on all OSs.

Re: Photo Manager
Thank you Hagar Delest,
I have installed both the FastStone Image Viewer and the XnConvert from the XnViewMP site.
They look to be very resource rich apps. I am not very familiar with them yet, but they seem easy to use.
However they do not seem to provide a facility or a upload button able to upload and download to and from a online storage / manager such as Google Photos.
Is there a way to do it to Google photos ?
Or, do I need a specific cloud to upload to ?
The reason I like Google Photos is because it is very easy to upload images and insert them to listings when editing Ebay listings etc.
Ebay have a interesting way to link the images used in a listing to a online resource. They do not, however, link to a personal computer.

Thanks for your help Hagar Delest,
I would have thought XnViewMP may have one of their own.
But apparently not.
It would be very handy.
