[Issue] Maximum sheets exceeded in spreadsheet

Post by tony »

i am new to this program and just trying it out for the first time. When i try to import an excel spreadsheet into open office, I get an error message that says that it has exceeded the maximum number of sheets. What is the maximum number of sheets that can be used/imported or Is this a setting that can be changed?

I had a hard time finding the answer on that page, and I knew the answer.

The maximum number of sheets that a Calc spreadsheet can support is 256. Other specs are:

Maximum number of rows: 65,536
Maximum number of columns: 256

I don't know what to do about spreadsheets that have more rows, more columns, or more sheets than is the maximum, but it is not a setting that can be changed.
