Times font for Hebrew

Post by blackangel »

Hey everyone. I used to be able to use the Times font for text in Hebrew, and it had the advantage that it got the parentheses going in the right direction (unlike its cousin Times New Roman, which looks fine but gets the parentheses wrong). Since I downloaded El Capitan 10.11.6, though, Times doesn't work as a Hebrew font. Any idea what might have happened, or if there is another font that gets the parentheses right in Hebrew?

As I know it, the Times New Roman font family is a commercial product of the Microsoft. You must buy it if you want use it. The Windows installer contains that font.
