[Solved] Messed up page (very small display)

Postby scarfitup » Fri Jan 19, 2018 3:17 pm

I have done something to my text document screen that had made the size of the document TINY! I have no idea what I did, so I have no idea how to fix it and return to normal view. There is no way to manage a document that you can't even read. I downloaded the latest version twice (4.1.5) on MacOS 10.10.5 - either same problems persist or the new version won't verify. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

is the actual size of the page I can view.

Look at the % box in bottom right of OpenOffice window. Double click in this box and select a suitable scaling factor from the menu offered - 100% may suit you, or "Fit Width"

It looks like this (click the image to enlarge):

If you can't see it, and other things on the bottom bar of the window, go to View and make sure Status Bar is checked.

One can also do this using the menu items /View /Zoom : 100% is a good start.
