[Solved] PDF creation

(solved) brand new user. would like to convert several existing MS Word documents to PDF documents. How do I do this?

Open a document, then /File /Export as PDF. Go with the defaults until you are familiar with the process.

thanks, but under my File tab, Export or Export as PDF is not an option. I have Save As, but no PDF option there either

Have you restarted your computer since installing OO 4.1.4? From which site did you download the version of OO you are using?

I will do that, but think I just figured it out. I didn't open the file, just highlighted it, then opened it in OOWriter, then all works. thanks for your help!
