Greetings, all!
I recently installed OpenOffice 4.1.4 on a laptop running Windows 10. Everything is running fine except that the Spell Checker flags *every* word as needing a spell check! I've checked the dictionaries and settings and can't find anything amiss. What can I do to correct this?
Cheers!

Rename your OO user profile.
As your Forum .sig says you are using Windows s close OpenOffice and the Quickstarter. Open File
Explorer. Copy and paste %appdata%\OpenOffice\4 in the File Explorer (sometimes called Windows Explorer)
Address Bar and press Enter. Rename the "user" folder - "user.old" is a good choice. Start OpenOffice.
This cures almost all spellcheck problems.
