Forgot my password to protect my documents

Post by mike g »

New to the forum but have been using Apache Open Office for a few years. Big problem, I created a document of accounts and their passwords. I then password protected the document for obvious security reasons and used my go to password. When I try to open the document it says I have entered the wrong password. I tried every variation I could think of. I must have "fat fingered" the keys as I was entering my "go to" password. Is there a way I can retrieve the document without knowing my password? Thanks for your help.

If you still know the password (or some varieties of it) but can not open the document anyway: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=87115&p=422773&hili ... rd#p422773
Please, edit this topic's initial post and add "[Solved]" to the subject line if your problem has been solved.
