[Solved] Pasting new string text, keeping previous spacing?

Hello everyone,

I would be thankful for your help solving this:

Let's say that I have a flowing gibberish text(digits and letters only), with spaces, like in "Example1" (please see the "Example" image attached)-

Now, I am willing a new text(with a same Monospaced font )- A string of characters that has the same amount of characters, but without the spaces, to replace the previous one.

So, the result will look like in "Example2"(the new string of characters is now with the same spacing as the previous text)


Can I somehow do that automatically, so although I use a continuous string of characters (without spacing), when I paste it to replace the previous text that includes spacing, the result will keep the same spacing of the previous text?

You can do this with a series of linked frames. Text will flow from each into the next frame in the chain; it remains one text and you can replace it with a different string. Getting the size, placement and the links all set up requires some effort, but it does work as you describe.
