[Solved] Clarity of Display

Post by BrianL »

A long time Symphony user I have just installed Openoffice 4.1.3 on an HP Pavilion Laptop running Windows 10. (Latest Windows updates have made Symphony inoperative, thanks Microsoft). The clarity of the display is poor compared to Symphony. Everything is slightly fuzzy or blurred. Any thoughts?

Did you search the forum for "fuzzy display" and try the solutions already posted?

Followed advice from earlier post

"find the soffice.exe file in the File Explorer c:\Program Files (x86)\OpenOffice 4\program\soffice.exe. Right click the file, choose Properties, select the Compatibility tab, and check the box to "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings."

Works perfectly. I don't need new glasses.....Many thanks.
