[Solved] Spacing

Part way through typing an 8 page, at the moment, document, I am suddenly finding I have an extra space, when I press return.
I must have started something but what?
Help an ignorant non-techie old man please

Edit the paragraph style you are using to remove "Space below paragraph" on the Indents and Spacing tab in that paragraph style's definitions.

I suggest leaving it alone at present and finishing your document, then worrying about the formatting.

Frequently modern document style is to have all lines flush left and a paragraph marked by a white space gap before the next paragraph. Traditional style is for a paragraph line to be indented (usually 1em) and no white space gap before the next paragraph.
