Adding Lines in Calc from Draw Toolbar

My question is: How do I straighten the lines added to a spreadsheet in Calc? Thanks for your interest.

Can you be just a bit more specific? Straighten in what way?

If you mean "How can I make the lines perfectly vertical or horizontal?" then try holding down Shift while you drag out the lines.
