Please clarify: do you mean the size on a printed page, or the size on the editing screen?

Please try a print from the attached file. The two horizontal rules should be about 3.5" (9 cm) apart.

Yes, the lines are exactly 3.5" apart. print size is normal i.e., not small

OK, then the problem is most likely in your /File /Print settings. These can vary from printer to printer, so what I write now may not be exactly applicable to your printer - you may have to explore.

On a file printing small, on /File /Print, look for a Page Layout tab and make sure that "Pages per sheet" is set to 1.

Check also that Brochure is not checked on that page.

Using a file that prints small, on /File /Print, on its the General tab, press the Properties button. On the window that opens select the Device tab. On this (differs according to printer brand) there may be a "scale" (or similar word) setting. If so, select this and choose 100% in the adjoining column.

scaling is at 100%. What I don't get is if I print the forum comments or any other site the print is normal . I don't know if the problem is my printer settings or if the problem originates with Open Office.

What font size setting do you have for the document with the issue? In the snip I've attached the font size is 12 point. Is your size significantly smaller?

It would help if you uploaded a sample file to the forum; we could then look at the internals to see what might be causing the problem.

I did not have the font size set correctly plus I didn't highlight the Open Office document after changing font size before printing.
